Rust can come from a variety of sources, mainly from fertilizers, metals and water that contain iron. Most rust stains are on the surface however some can travel up to 1/16th of an inch deep. There are rare cases of iron that can bleed from within concrete.

Another form of “Rust Stain” is due to Battery Acid the orange stain is actually a flash burn that can run down your driveway and into the street. Acid burns can look identical to Rust as seen in the image below. We only know of one product that neutralizes this and removes the stain.

As you can see we removed the stains. This property was located in Land O’ Lakes FL. and was caused by a couple of Golf cart batteries.

Below is a photo of a property we cleaned in Lutz. These stains are caused by well water that is sprayed by the irrigation system. The concrete is porous so the stain also soaks into the surface. An Acid must be applied to remove these stains.

Our products are also safe on vertical surfaces such as vinyl, block, stucco and other painted surfaces.
